- I like a lot of old school rock/metal but I'll listen to anything I like the sound of
I don't collect cds or follow any bands, I don't go to gigs or festivals (not for the bands anyway)
A bit of a Jekyll n Hyde introvert/extrovert type of character, most of you will know me more as hyper/silly drunk, but if I haven't had a drink I probably wont say much to ya :P
I'm a fairly laid back person I don't let much bother me, I never get depressed or owt
Try not to judge ppl by there age, or how they dress
I wear clothes till there well worn out even if I can afford new
I'm not into fashion, I'm not into trends, I'm not into competition in general, whether it be who has the coolest haircuts/clothes/moves or just sociaty in general
I'd rather people work with each other than against each other
I haven't told so much as a white lie in years!
Tho I don't expect most people to believe me as it seems to be some kind of remarkable feat, which is a bit sad (jokes/sarcasm don't count obv)
I wouldn't say I had any "heros" but if I did Richard Dawkins would be up there, and maybe Axl Rose from back in the day when I was an impressionable youth :P (yeah I know hes an arse)
I go out every Wednesday no matter what
I analyse and over think everything
I'm addicted to the internet!

Introduction to Barnsleyrock
I started the first Barnsleyrock site quite a while ago now.
It was in response to the dire state of the rock scene at the time.
The main problems being the lack of people that were going out, and the music.
While trying to convince the djs to play something a little more diverse than the same overly commercial set lists, (that got played week after week), I was told how they were paid to keep people dancing and to keep the dance floor full.
